Another Day - Part I & Part II

Just finished breakfast - omlets and scrambled eggs today.  Also played a few games of Uno with the kids.  Chelsea, Habtamu and Jared are now playing soccer in the courtyard, again. This morning we met a family here from CA on their pickup trip for a 14 y.o. girl. They are going to give us some pointers on restaurants in the area. That will be a blessing. So far it is a mixed bag on the food here.


Today, we are headed to a school to drop off some more donations. We dropped off three suitcases of stuff at the care center last night. We were also supposed to arrange for a cat food pick up yesterday, but forgot to call. Hopefully the cats can survive another day without their american cuisine!


After the care center, we went to Kald's and got some ice cream. The kids liked that treat. It was also their dinner!  (parents of the week for that one.)  We watched Eragon on tv and then turned in for the night. Will post some more pictures from today's events.

Part II

Went to the autism school this morning and brought many donations.  It was beautiful.  There are colors, flowers, comfortable and decorated rooms and a very friendly staff.  The director said she wasn't expecting so many things and seemed very grateful for everything.  Thanks to those of you who filled 3 pieces of luggage (70 pounds) for us to bring!  I know it will go to great use here :o)

Told you this girl could turn anything into fun.  Even pesky flies, apparently!

Hey Corey...Jared needs your help with something.  What is the name of the Star Wars character who has 4-5 light sabers - he's a droid.  General....what?  Your dad and Jared were having some kind of "name the star wars characters" contest this morning and Jared got hung up on that one...and it's bugging him.  Dad told me the name but I can't tell him...so he thought he would ask you.  Care to help him?

Hey Miranda...see the little fan in the picture above?  She thought you may like it, because she said it reminded her of one of your Chinese fans (on a much smaller scale, of course).
